Vegetarian Receipe:::Aloo Palak Methi




Method for preparing Aloo palak methi...

Ingredients
Potatoes,boiled, peeled and diced2 medium
Spinach leaves (palak)1/2 medium bunch
Fenugreek leaves (methi),chopped1 medium bunch
Oil2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds1 teaspoon

Onions,finely chopped2 medium
Ginger,chopped1 inch piece
Garlic,chopped1 tablespoon
Saltto taste
Green chillies,chopped1 teaspoon
Turmeric powdera pinch
Red chilli powder1 teaspoon
spinach puree1/4 cup
Yogurt3 tablespoon + for garnishing
Method
Chop spinach leaves.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and onions. Sauté till onions are soft.
Add ginger and garlic. Mix well. Add chopped spinach and fenugreek leaves. Mix well.
Add salt, green chillies, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add spinach puree and mix well. Add 1/4 cup of water and potatoes. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Whisk yogurt and add to pan. Mix well and cook till done.
Serve garnished with yogurt.
